We are partners for our customers from the initial contact until after-sales-services. At filtertechnik.Europe we have the entire process chain in-house at our disposal. As technical consultant, we discuss customer demands and develop concepts that empower increased efficiency in machines and processes of our customers. State-of-the-art technology is our tool box that allows us to create customer-specific solutions as individual engineers. From rapid prototyping to series production – we possess the required machinery and processes to manufacture functional elements in various batch sizes precisely and efficiently. As global supplier, we meet our customers’ demands for on-time and fast deliveries. Along the entire process chain – certified according to ISO 9001 – we exploit synergies within the fteu® Group to serve our customers locally and offer most attractive solutions.
1950s: stocking weaver
Our company is founded in Heinsberg (Germany) in the traditionally textile-focused Rhine region.
1980s: wire mesh weaving and stamping plant
The expertise of textile manufacturing is applied for weaving of wire mesh. We are focusing on wire mesh weaving as well as manufacturing of two-dimensional filters.
1990s: filter manufacturer for individual applications
The manufacturing of filter elements out of metal mesh is becoming the core of our business. We create more complex three-dimensional filter elements for the efficient filtration in our customers’ machines and processes.
2000s: filter partner with global value creation
Our company is named filtertechnik.Europe under the ownership of Dr. Christian Komorek. fteu® Group is established as global partner for filter technology of wire mesh with the foundation of Baoding Filter Equipment in China as well as filtertechnik.Europe CZ in the Czech Republic.
Today: specialist for Function in Permeable Metals
Today we are a specialist for Function in Permeable Metals. With our developments, we have established technologies for leading permeable metal (wire mesh, laminates, sintered structures, metal fibre felt) for filtration, dispersion, precision assemblies, heat absorption, and sound absorption. For our customers, we are a development partner for function and reliable supplier for quality products and spare parts for industrial processes worldwide.
fteu® Group & Partner
The fteu® Group consists of three companies in Germany (filtertechnik.Europe), P.R. China (BDFE) and the Czech Republic (fteuCZ). Together with our sales partners we offer function of metal mesh with our global network.
Baoding Filter Equipment Co., Ltd. (BDFE): BDFE was established in 2003 to ensure excellence in quality of the material we purchased in Asia. It has been developed to a manufacturing company that supplies predominantly Asian customers with metal mesh solutions. BDFE is located in Northern China in a region that has an industrial focus on wire mesh manufacturing. BDFE runs quality inspection processes with its own employees that qualify wire mesh as our quality basis on-site at our suppliers’ facilities. On the customer side BDFE has a focus on the automotive and the textile sector. BDFE is certified according to IATF 16949 and specializes in series production. For specific customer demands we integrate BDFE in our production processes and thereby offer attractive solutions for series production of functional metal mesh elements.
filtertechnik.Europe CZ (fteu CZ): fteu CZ is the sales organization in our group responsible for the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe. fteu CZ offers services and possess its own stock of metal mesh products for the availability of our customers.
We use long-term partnership to offer our solutions locally across different industries and continents. This enables us to understand and meet customer-specific demands worldwide.
Fitech Inc.: Fitech is our distributor for North America and runs operations in the USA as well as Mexico. Fitech specializes in solutions for plastic filtration and processing, specifically nonwovens.
web+mesh: our agent web+mesh is focused on nonwovens customers worldwide.
Steinmann & Bertuletti: Steinmann & Bertuletti specializes in textile processes and represents us in Italy.
Fepla: Fepla is our Spanish agent for filtration solutions for the plastics, textile, and chemical industry.
Movimento: Movimento is focused on technical components and services for polymer fibre processing. Movimento is active and based in the growing economy Turkey.
